The Valleys Welsh Business Club met at Hoffi Coffi, Treforest on 3 June. Royston O'Reilly gave a brief talk about why it was a pleasure and sensible to use Welsh in business. Caroline Mortimer talked about her work as the RhCT Council's Welsh Language Officer.

A training session on marketing and networking was presented by Sglein at Borders, Talbot Green, on 24 January. It was an opportunity organised by the Welsh Language Business Group for the audience to improve their communication skills.

During the evening Jobtrac Cymru celebrated its third birthday. Congratulations also to Jobtrac on winning the bilingual business award in the 2008 Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club Award Ceremony.
