FAMILY SKI TRIP TO AUSTRIA, 11th- 18th FEBRUARY 2012 As a parent of one of the pupils of YGGG Llantrisant, I am providing an opportunity for parents and pupils of the school to experience a family ski holiday and enable you, your children and your friends to learn/practice your skiing. What better way to spend the February Half Term? As a teacher of Physical Education myself, I have 15 years experience of organising school ski trips. A great package has been arranged through a specialist local travel agent, Snowstyle Ltd. I believe Snowslyle Ltd offers an excellent all-round package at a very competitive price. The trip will include:  Return luxury coach travel from school to Austria with Dover – Calais ferry crossing.  5 nights half board at the 4* Hotel Post, Abtenau. o Indoor pool o Gala dinner on one evening with Austrian-style entertainment o See link for more information: www.hotel-post-abtenau.at  5 day resort lift pass to Dachstein West Ski Region, 5 minutes by coach from Hotel. o See link: www.dachstein.at/en/summer/header/winter/  Hire of skis, boots, helmets and poles for 5 days.  A full programme of evening activities, including: horse-drawn sleigh ride, eisstockschiessen & tobogganing. Extras to budget for:  Travel insurance.  Lunch.  Ski lessons. (170 Euros/Instructor/day. Arranged to suit group requirements) The total cost of the trip is £599 per adult and £499 per child (under 14). I anticipate a very high demand for places on the trip and therefore the first non-refundable deposit of £150.00 per person is required on or before 13th January 2012. The final balances of £449 per adult and £349 per child will be payable by 27th January 2012. The price is based on 40 people travelling and the first 40 people to pay their deposits will reserve a place on the trip.
